January 14, 2009 - Stalker

I am finishing the final edits on the Stalker with publication set for next month.  I haven't picked up this novel in a while and in my memory I wasn't fond of it.  I remember being unsatisfied with the character development.  A year later doing the edit the characters are great, I am sure that I just had so much back story in my own mind about the characters that I couldn't see how the reader would ever feel what I did about Jo and Leo.  I love the method of this story... start out as a romance then poke it a few times with a knife to see if the love can survive... Gotta love it ;)

February 4, 2009 - Ravaged Land

So I am 100 plus pages into this twin plotted story.  It's a little suspense and a little sci-fi, depending on which story line you are following.  The characters have an obvious connection, but you can add mystery to the mix as we don't quite know where and how that connection is.  I am excited about this story as it is very unique.  Evalynne is a woman living alone on a remote plain in Oklahoma and experiences plagues of pain and suffering, Noah is on a journey to collect DNA specemins to save the world.  I know the secrets the hold, but you have to unfold them in the story.

April 4, 2009 - A tale of Two Ebays

I have started offering a serialized novel through my Ebay auctions.  From a marketing strategy, it follows the standard department store in a mall design.  You first identify a place where shoppers congregate:  Mall/Ebay.  You then place shiny things in the windows to attract customers to come into your store:  Unusual Auction Items.  You create a hook, something that will make them want to come back and shop for more of your goods: The serialized chapters.  Create a loyalty plan for regular shoppers and those shoppers who are looking to get more from their purchases:  The opportunity to be mentioned in the novel or to be named as one of the characters.  I have completed the second listing with Chapter 2 embedded, we are finding our main character meeting a woman who could become much more than a passer by... the question is was it really an accidental meeting?  Is she really as nice as she seems or is there something darker and sinister to her?  You have to read to find out.  Find my items in our Ebay Store, Fantabulously Found.
